Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to all who read our blog. We had our Christmas with Gary Lisa and Kristin last evening. We had a meal here. Ham Sweet potato soufle rice and broccali Made noodles for the mashed potatoes. also baked apples. With cherry pie. Thelma and I went to bed around 10:00 last night. We were both so tired. I think that all of the stress with not having power made a difference. I think we both feel better today. We went to church this morning. and then went to chinese buffet for dinner. Was good. Not your typical meal for Christmas. This is the first year that my Mom is not with us for Christmas. I sure do miss her. I am glad that she was not around for the power outage. She would have been worried that we didn't have power. Tomorrow Thelma has a blood check, pt, and a check for cholestral. Thats about it for today. More probably tomorrow. Ron and Thelma and Eli

I hadn’t thought about that but you are right. Mom would really have been worried about you guys. Yeah, it’s not your typical meal but it sounds good and not cooking it sounds even better. I spent so much time in the kitchen that the food didn’t even taste that good. How is Thelma doing getting around now?

Glad to hear Thelma is doing good. Sorry to hear you guys were without power for so long. We were very lucky at our house that we never lost power! Ed & I went to Fort Wayne last Saturday evening (20th) and Fort Wayne had alot more ice than we got in Decatur. I thought Decatur was bad with trees/branchs down everywhere, until I seen Ft Wayne! Have to say that the ice was beautiful on the trees with store and Christmas lights shining through, but it was so distructive! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you a Happy New Year!
