Day 11
Well it is Sat. Still no power. Have the generator running in the garage with door open a little. Cord running in through living room window. Have one light on in living room and cord going to fridge in kitchen . Gary came out and helped me bring up 3 loads of wood to keep fireplace going. Probably have to bring up some more tomorrow. Thelma is ready for this stuff to end. It us supposed to get really cold by Mon. We have to take eli to groomer and Thelma has blood check. On Tues. and Wed she has pt. I wil kep the fireplace going all night. Will set timer for every hour to check on it. We have never been without power this long for a long time. Will update tomorow. Kep warm and stay safe. sounds like you got the weather up there. sounds like all is going as good as it can for aunt thelma. i have made so many runs to the nursing home for sick people that i have caught their bug but i am beter now have a great christmas talk to you soon

Not much fun, especially when its so cold. At least you do have the fireplace. Some don’t even have that. Did you take pictures of the trees and such. Hope by the time you update tomorrow you will have power back.

Gee maybe windy LA isn’t so bad! We went 4 days without power, but survived. Just hang in there = this to shall pass. Merry Christmas to Eli and you all too. Carol

Hope you Guys got your electic back on—I see it was really cold there. We been following Thelmas progress daily Sounds like she is doing well considering all thats going on. Tell her not to get discouraged.
Were leaving for the Fort tomorrow—take two days. Hope all is well and Merry Christmas to all, Darlene and Harry

I think you guys got it worse than we did. Jenn and Charlie lost power for about 10 hours. We were lucky. We never did lose power. I’m glad you have the fireplace to use and also have plenty of wood. Hope it’s back on by now.
