Day 8

Today was the first day of pt. About 1 hour and 15 minutes worth. After that we went and got brunch since it was almost 11:00. Then we came home and Thelma crashed on the couch. She was really tired. The therapist said that she is doing good. She has not seen anybody for wuite a while that was doing as good as she. She also did them tonight. She is resting now with ice pack on the knee. She had some swelling in her foot which they said is normal.  Tomorrow she gets her blood checked again.  Fri is pt again. Course it's supposed to snow again. That is not fun when she is using a walker.

If you feel like you can reply to the blog anytime. I check it every day. Usually in the evening.

Glad to hear that she is doing so well, but can understand how she would be wiped out afterward. Maybe the snow will hold off until after you get home.

It is great that everything is going so well with the new knee. Keep up the good work, Thelma. I got an email from Candy yesterday and she said to say “Hi” and let you know they are thinking of you. Hope the weather cooperates.

I’m glad that she continues to make progress. Just be careful on the steps and ice and snow.
